I like a wide variety of music. Almost everything pleases me in some way. But tonight I was watching Conan O'Brien and some guy whose name I couldn't pronounce for 100 bucks performed. Wow. His name is Jake Shimabukuro. If you want to listen or buy his music on iTunes, I recommend starting with his album entitled Gently Weeps. Beautiful music. No words. It's all performed on his little ukelele. And I must say, after sitting on a minor league bus going hours upon hours listening to a ukelele last year. Yea, one of the guys on the team had a ukelele and until the coaches got sick of it it was very soothing to listen to. This guy, Shumabukuro, turns it into an art form. Hypnotic would be the best way to describe him.
