I assume most, if not all, of my readers watch Sportscenter. Some probably schedule their evening around it. I know it's difficult for me to sleep without seeing the 11:00 show. Something that I have always found interesting, yet seem to forget, goes unnoticed by most everybody. Next time you watch it, or Baseball Tonight for that matter, listen carefully to the background music played during highlights. Honestly, they are nuts! Every single highlight exhibits hard rock or punk rock in the background. Sometimes they throw in some rap. I can't tell if it is a blatant attempt at being hip, or if it's some kind of subliminal action. Just listen for it. It's strange and it's there. Most of the time it just doesn't fit, although I can understand how dull the highlights would be without some kind of music.
